A quiet, design-led interior — the environment where one26's thinking happens

Studio

A design studio built
around the home.

one26 is a small, design-led studio. We plan, integrate, and support home systems for exceptional residences — designed into the architecture, not installed around it.

Most technology is introduced to a home after all the real decisions have already been made. We work the other way.

How we work

Every stage,
considered.

The work that prevents problems is invisible. That is exactly how it should be.

01

Before construction begins

We review drawings, work through routing and placement with the project team, and plan every system before the first wall closes. That early work is what prevents every retrofit later.

02

During the build

We coordinate directly with architects, contractors, and interior designers — managing our scope as one part of a considered whole. Precision here protects the design intent.

03

At completion and after

We commission and calibrate every system carefully. We stay until the home feels exactly as it should. Then we remain available — long after the last cable is in.

The homes that hold up best are the ones where technology was considered from the start — not added at the end.

Our foundation

Experience that shows
in the details.

one26 has been part of the Pacific Northwest residential design community long enough to have worked alongside some of the region's most careful architects, on some of its most considered homes.

That depth means we have made difficult decisions before. We know which technical choices hold up over ten years and which ones don't. We know where complexity helps and where it creates problems. We have seen what long-term support actually looks like — and built the studio around it.

Design collaboration

Part of the
project team.

Good home technology should be invisible — not just concealed, but genuinely absent from how a space feels. That requires involvement long before installation begins.

We work directly with architects and interior designers during design development. We review drawings, map pathways, discuss placement and sight lines, and find solutions that keep the architecture clean. Our role is to support the design intent, not complicate it.

We bring technical precision so the design team can stay focused on what matters to them. The most successful projects are the ones where we were in the room early — and where no one had to retrofit anything later.

Working on a residence? Let's talk.

Long-term support

The relationship
continues after installation.

Installing a system is the beginning, not the end. Homes change. How people live in them changes. The person handling that should already know the home.

  • Direct access to our team — not a ticketing queue
  • Proactive monitoring where possible
  • Prompt response when something needs attention
  • Updates and adjustments as the home evolves
  • Continuity: the people who designed the system maintain it

Every project starts
with a conversation.

Whether you are a homeowner planning something significant, or a designer looking for a technical partner who will protect the work — we would like to hear what you are building toward.
